Jesuit Dallas football will head into the postseason on a four-game winning streak after upending Nimitz, 56-14 on senior night at Ranger Stadium. A roughly hour-long rain delay did not dissuade the Rangers, as Jesuit uncorked 35 unanswered points to open the contest as a wildly efficient, all-around team performance helped Jesuit close the regular season with a 6-4 record.

Charlie Peters completed 18-of-20 passes for 238 yards and two touchdowns, picking up 36 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground. Senior

Ryan Engelhardt added one of his own, helping the Rangers amass 163 team rushing yards and 5.4 yards per carry. Junior

Jesuit will turn its attention to the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Region I-6A Division II Tournament, where the Rangers will enter as the No. 2 seed out of District 7-6A. In the bi-district round, the Rangers will square off against Arlington Bowie, the District 8-6A overall champion that finished the year unbeaten in district play while securing a 7-3 record. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Wilemon Field on the campus of Sam Houston H.S.
