Jesuit Dallas opened Tuesday's non-district contest against Walnut Grove with a 16-10 lead after the first quarter, but the Wildcats came storming back, out-scoring the Rangers by 12 in the second en route to securing a 56-49 win over the Rangers at Walsh Gym. The loss snaps a three-game winning streak for Jesuit ahead of a trip to San Antonio for the 2024 Diamondbacker Invitational.

The Rangers will begin their run at the two-day tournament on Friday, December 13 as the Blue and Gold will square off against tournament host San Antonio Reagan at 2:30 p.m. The Rangers will then face either Los Fresnos or The Woodlands in the second round, which will take place at 9 a.m. or 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 14.
