Jesuit Dallas fell three points short of upending Highland Park as the Rangers dropped a 47-44 decision to the Scots on Friday at Highland Park H.S. The Rangers had a pair of game-tying shot attempts but were unable to hit the equalizer prior to the buzzer.
 
Senior Hank Gramlich and junior Caleb Steger scored 11 points apiece, while senior Tre Mergerson tacked on 10 points for the Blue and Gold. Junior Michael Grant scored seven points and senior Justin Kemp added five points. Steger and Mergerson tied for the team lead with six rebounds apiece while Gramlich tacked on a team-high four assists. Gramlich, Kemp and junior Charlie Peters each recorded two steals.
 
The Rangers will close the regular season on Feb. 13, when the Blue and Gold heads to Richardson to battle the district-leading Eagles. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. Read Full Article
