Jesuit Sweeps Irving, Scores 10-0 Win at Wright Field

Jesuit Dallas completed a sweep of Irving on Tuesday, upending the Tigers, 10-0, in five innings at Wright Field. The win
 
Junior Asher Levy threw a gem on the mound, firing a five-inning four-hitter while striking out nine batters. Junior Jake Fults went 2-for-3 with two runs driven in, including the game-ending, two-RBI single in the bottom of the fifth inning. Sophomore James Jorgensen went 2-for-2 with two RBI and a double, adding a stolen base.
 
In total the Rangers picked up six stolen bases on the night, as sophomore Braxton Barber secured two steals while Fults, James Jorgensen, senior Jake Jorgensen and sophomore Hudson Yobp each secured a steal. In addition, the Rangers forced seven walks, with senior Cameron Davis leading the way with two walks.
 
The Rangers will return to Wright Field on Thursday, Mar. 28 to begin a two-game district series against Highland Park. First pitch on Thursday is scheduled for 7 p.m.
