Jesuit Dallas dropped a 2-1 decision to Highland Park on Saturday at Scotland Yard. The Rangers trailed the Scots, 2-0 after the fourth inning and rallied in the sixth but were unable to secure the equalizer before suffering their third district loss of the season.
 
The Rangers saw hits recorded by seniors Tristen Bird, Cameron Davis, junior E'Mar Fleming II, junior Jake Fults and sophomore Shane Parker. Fults drove in a run for the Rangers in the top of the sixth, launching a line drive to center that plated Davis. Junior Brayden Montes threw 2.2 innings, allowing three hits and striking out a batter. Senior Jaxx Rigelsky threw the final 3.1 innings, striking out a batter.
 
Jesuit will head into a bye week against district competition and will return to action on Friday against Sachse. First pitch against Wright Field is set for 7 p.m., and the matchup will also serve as senior night for the Jesuit Dallas baseball program.
