Jesuit Dallas junior
Harlan Beucler set a new program record in the 200m, highlighting a strong Jesuit Dallas performance at the Texas Tech Wes Kittley High School Invitational, held on Jan. 24-25 in Lubbock, Texas.
Beucler recorded a 22.07 in the event, besting the previous mark of 22.27, which was recorded by Jhalen Spicer '20 during his senior season. Beucler would finish the event in 38th place. Senior
John Keeton Parrish posted a 22.98 in his first race of the season.
Senior
Henry Bourret recorded a 7.49 in the 100m and a 23.56 in the 200m, while fellow fourth year
Eli Prieur clocked a 23.89 in the 200m. Senior
Jaeger Krauss secured a 24.09 in the 200m and added a 48.39 in the 400m.
Junior
Brayden Higginbotham was Jesuit's top finisher in the 800m, placing 31st with a 2:05.88. Junior
Will Price posted a 2:07.44 and finished 35th. Freshman
Oscar Gooden finished 22nd in the one mile run with a 4:45.22, followed by a 5:12.62 from
Joaquin Lopez. A 17th place, 9:47.15 from freshman
Maddux Click in the 3,000 meter run capped Jesuit's individual participants in the event. Jesuit closed out the meet with 3:27.35 in the 4x400 meter relay, finishing in eighth place.
Jesuit will now turn its attention to the outdoor track and field season. The Rangers will begin the 2025 campaign at the McKinney Boyd Relays, which is scheduled for Feb. 14-15 at Ron Poe Stadium in McKinney.
