Jesuit Earns Seven Water Polo All-District Awards

Charlie Gall was named Co-Player of the Year and Jason Gall earned Coach Of the Year

DALLAS - Junior Charlie Gall was named the University Interscholastic League District 3-6A Water Polo Player of the Year and Jason Gall the Coach of the Year as eight Jesuit Rangers earned postseason mention from the district coaches as announced on Tuesday.

Gall was joined on the First Team by senior Cayden Bartusek, sophomore Aidan Reardon and senior Jack Stevens, while sophomores Knox Brookshire and Tamer Nino were voted on to the Second Team.

Gall, who was named Player of the Year in 2024, finished his third season on varsity with a school-record 106 goals, to go along with 31 assists for 137 points - also a school record. He scored at least three points in every game and found the back of the net a career-high nine times against Fort Bend Travis. This is his third-consecutive time on the first team.

Bartusek completed one of the most successful season in net for the Rangers. He stopped 344 shots for a 12.4 saves per game average - both single-season school records. He also had 11 assists, scored three times and made 13 steals. It is his second first team all-district honor.

Reardon earned his first all-district honor after collecting 64 goals, 31 assist and 21 steals. He had four games with at least five goals, including a career-high six in the bi-district win over Garland.

Stevens completed his senior season with 42 goals, 18 assists and 28 steals. He finished his 4-year varsity career with 125 goals, 47 assists and 55 steals.

Brookshire ended his first varsity season with 17 goals, 12 assists and 16 steals. He found the scoring column in 10 different games with a career-high five against Rockwall i the season opener.

Nino found success on the right side of the Ranger offense and scored 14 goals, assisted 29 and recorded 18 steals.

Gall led Jesuit to the UIL Area Round for the third-consecutive season as the Rangers went 12-14-1 overall and finished second in the district for the second-straight year following a district title in 2023. This is his second Coach of the Year award, following up on his 2023 honor.
