CHULA VISTA, Calif. – Three Jesuit Dallas water polo players recently participated in the United States Water Polo ODP National Championship Tournament just outside of San Diego, Calif.
Rising senior
Charlie Gall, rising junior
Aidan Reardon and rising sophomore Jamie Tison all competed with and against some of the best junior players in the country.
At the end of the week, Gall was selected to the Boys ODP Youth National Team. He plays for the Texas Thunder Water Polo Club in the Southwest Zone.
Tison was selected for the Boys ODP Cadet National Team. Tison and Reardon both play for the Pegasus Water Polo Academy in the Southwest Zone.
Reardon received the Nick Johnson Inspiration Award, which recognizes athletes on a yearly basis that fully embody the vision and values of the Olympic Development Program. The values of the program are based on the Olympic movement, defined as "Olympism." It was created in 2015 to honor the memory of Nicholas Johnson, who passed away in 2014 following a standout club and high school playing career in the national program.
All three are expected to play for the Jesuit varsity program this fall. The Rangers are coming off their third-consecutive UIL Class 6A State Playoffs appearance. They will be competing in District 3-6A with Highland Park, Prosper, Richland, Rock Hill and Walnut Grove.
