OAK POINT, Texas - The Jesuit cross country team ran to a second place finish in the UIL District 7-6A Championships at Prestonwood Polo Club on Wednesday.
All five Rangers scorer finished in the top 12 to help the team advance to the regional meet in two weeks.
Brayden Higginbotham led the Ranger contingent with a seventh place finish, completing the 5k course in 17:21.Â

Ethan Irrobali joined him in earning top-10 medals with their ninth and tenth place finishes, respectively.
Kevin Nazareth and
Ethan Speer also contributed to Jesuit's 49 points. Lake Highlands won with a score of 28 and JJ Pearce was third with 63.
The region meet will be run at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock on Tuesday, Oct. 21.
