CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Jesuit Crew traveled to Chattanooga, Tennessee to compete at the Head of the Hooch, one of the nation's premier fall regattas. The event featured more than 2,000 entries from across the country, providing a competitive field and valuable experience for all athletes.
Jesuit entered five boats across multiple categories. The Varsity 4+ opened the weekend with a solid effort, finishing 105th in a field of 119. The two Novice 8+ entries placed 17th and 27th out of 27, while the U19 and U17 8+ each earned 11th-place finishes in their respective categories, capping off a strong fall campaign.
"This weekend was a great representation of Jesuit Crew and the support that surrounds our community," said Head Coach Eli Brown. "Our athletes raced with heart, humility, and respect. They've shown that belief in one another and in the process is what continues to drive us forward."
Jesuit Crew now turns its focus toward winter training in preparation for the upcoming spring championship season.
