LEWISVILLE, Texas - The Jesuit Dallas swimming & diving team scored 398 points to win the Texas Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association North Zone Invitational at the LISD Westside Aquatic Center on Saturday.
The Rangers edged out Marcus by 34 points for the title. Plano was third with 262 points and Frisco Reedy was fourth with 194. The event consisted of competitors from 27 high schools from across the DFW Metroplex.
Jesuit received scoring from 11 different athletes in the 2-day, prelim/finals meet.
Junior
Jonah Ruhl finished with 45 points as he won the 100 yard backstroke and was runner-up in the 100 yard freestyle, while also swimming on the winning 200 free relay and the second place 400 free relay. Senior
Luke Lary added 40 points to the tally with top four finishes in the 50 free (fourth) and 100 butterfly (second), while joining Ruhl on the same two relays.
Senior
Sam Kennington touched third in the 50 free and 11th in the 100 free, and senior
Sebastian Suwanda was sixth in the 500 free and 13th in the the 200 free. Both Rangers were also on the 200 and 400 free relay teams.
