DALLAS - Jesuit Dallas fell to St. Mark's 63-51 in the third-place game of the 62nd Annual Knights of Columbus Bob Stras Memorial Tournament at Walsh Gym on Saturday.
Jesuit (6-5) shot 44 percent but had trouble handling the size of St. Mark's, who had 20 offensive rebounds and held a 40-26 overall edge on the glass..
Cooper Jensen made five 3-pointers to lead the Rangers with 15 points, while
Pierce Popelka had 13 points and seven rebounds.
St. Mark's held a 30-25 lead at the half and extended it to 48-34 after the third quarter.
Dawson Battie led the Lion with 23 points, 10 rebounds and five steals.
Jesuit will return to play on Tuesday with a road game at Prosper Walnut Grove.
