Jesuit opened the 2025 season with a pair of wins on Saturday afternoon, securing a 6-1 victory over TCA-Addison before a dramatic, 2-1, eight-inning victory over Arlington Martin in eight innings.

Taylor Haddock launched a walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth, driving in junior
Carter Noland to give Jesuit a hard-fought win over a District 8-6A opponent. Senior
Asher Levy threw a gem on the bump, taking a no-hitter into the seventh and finishing the game with two hits, an earned run and six strikeouts. Junior Jacob Martinez threw a critical inning of relief in the eighth, setting the stage for Jesuit's game-winning rally in the bottom of the frame.

Brooks Kowal each recorded doubles, with Archie driving in a run for the Rangers. Kowal and junior
Hudson Yobp scored runs for the Rangers, Kowal added a team-high two hits, and junior

Against TCA-Addison, the Rangers broke through for their first runs of the season in the second inning. Senior
Barrett Kasprowicz scored Jesuit's first run of the season, driving home fellow fourth year
E'mar Fleming II with a sacrifice fly after Fleming opened the inning with a walk. Junior

Jake Fults increased Jesuit's lead to three runs before the Rangers scored three runs in the top of the fifth.
Haddock drove in junior
Braxton Barber with a sacrifice fly, Fults scored on a wild pitch and Kowal brought Fleming home on a single to give Jesuit a 6-1 lead late in the contest. Senior
Patrick Brady picked up the win on the mound with four innings of work and five strikeouts, while sophomore Cooper Patton threw the final two innings of the contest, holding the Trojans to one hit.
Jesuit will return to the diamond on Monday as the Rangers will travel to Denton Guyer H.S. to battle the Wildcats at 6 p.m. The Rangers will make their home debut on Thursday, March 27 as Jesuit will serve as one of the hosts for the 2025 Five Tool Invitational.
