Jesuit Dallas baseball finished a busy week with a 7-0, non-district setback to Burleson Centennial on Saturday at Wright Field.

The Rangers were held to one hit by Centennial's Caden Harrington, as junior
Charlie Wilson secured a hit for the Blue and Gold but was unable to cross the plate. Senior
Trenton Giles was Jesuit's second base runner of the game, earning a walk in the bottom of the third inning.

Wallace Archie threw two innings for the Rangers, securing a strikeout before junior
Brooks Kowal took over in the fourth, shutting out the Spartans and allowing one hit while striking out a batter. Junior

Sam Strong completed the Rangers' pitching lineup on the day, throwing the seventh inning.

Jesuit will return to action on Tuesday as the Rangers will welcome MacArthur to Wright Field for the first of two district matchups. MacArthur enters the week with a 3-3 district record after sweeping a two-game set from Berkner with 8-0 victories on March 26 and March 28. Jesuit currently leads the district standings with a 5-1 record and are one game ahead of Lake Highlands and Richardson. MacArthur is currently tied with J.J. Pearce for the final playoff spot in District 7-6A as both have 3-3 district records.

The series against MacArthur begins at Wright Field on Tuesday, April 1 at 7:30 p.m. before shifting to MacArthur for a 7:30 p.m. first pitch on Friday, April 4.
