4/25/2025 12:35:00 PM

Four Jesuit Dallas senior pitchers combined to throw a no-hitter on senior night, helping propel Jesuit Dallas to an 11-0 win over Nimitz on Tuesday at Wright Field.

Senior Dillon Brandt earned the win on the mound, throwing the first two innings of the game and retiring six batters in order. Senior Asher Levy threw the third inning, Wallace Archie threw the fourth inning and Sam Strong threw the fifth inning to clinch the win for Jesuit. Archie and Strong struck out two batters apiece while Levy added a strikeout during his time on the bump. Senior Barrett Kasprowicz made a key play in the bottom of the seventh, throwing out an advancing runner following a line drive to left to keep the no-hitter intact.

Offensively, the Rangers were paced by an eight-run second inning that put the team in position for the win. Junior Braxton Barber, senior Jake Fults and sophomore Roman Derichsweiler drove in two runs apiece, as Derichsweiler finished the contest with two hits, including a triple. Barber led the team with three runs while junior Shane Parker, junior Alex Barr, senior Cooper Thomas and senior Trenton Giles added hits.

Jesuit Dallas will finish the 2025 regular season on Friday, April 25 as the Rangers hit the road to close the two-game series against Nimitz. First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Irving, Texas.
