Patrick Brady, Jesuit Dallas opened the 2025 playoffs with a 10-0, six-inning win over Arlington Bowie on Thursday night at Wright Field. The Rangers will travel to Arlington on Friday with an opportunity to sweep the best-of-three series and set up an area round showdown against either Flower Mound Marcus or McKinney Boyd.

Brady fired six innings of three-hit, shutout work, striking out eight batters en route to securing the win. Jesuit jumped on the Volunteers early with four runs in the first followed by two runs in the second and three runs in the third to take a 9-0 advantage into the home stretch of the game. The series will turn its attention to Arlington on Friday as the Rangers and Volunteers will square off at 7 p.m. With a win, Jesuit Dallas will secure the 15
th bi-district championship in program history and continue an impressive spread that has seen the Blue and Gold capture 14 straight bi-district championships, a run that dates back to the 2010 season.
