The Jesuit Dallas cross country programs competed in two events late last week - the Rick Neil Invitational in Lewisville on Thursday and the Hoka-McNeil Invitational in Round Rock on Friday.
Lewisville Rick Neil Invitational:
It was good day for our teams at the Rick Neil Invitational in Lewisville! Our boys competed for podium spots in both Varsity and JV races! In the varsity competition our team finished 5th place. Seniors,
Brayden Higginbotham and
Ethan Irrobali took 3rd and 4th with their best races to date. The Ranger JV dominated the competition by placing 4 runners in the top 10 spots and winning the Team Championship!: Freshman
Corbin Turner took 3rd place with teammates freshman
Camden Le (5th), sophomore

Hoka-McNeil Invitational:
We split our varsity squad to have an opportunity to run on the state course at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. Despite some adversity, our team competed well.

Kevin Nazareth finished just 7 seconds apart!
Maddux Click and
Sebastian Espinoza were within 30 seconds of their teammates! That's team running! Sophomore,

Most Improved:
We had several outstanding performances in both meets! JV most improved goes to sophomore,
Noah Cowley! The Rick Neil Invitational was Noah's first race of the season and he made the most of it by finishing 6th place overall! WOW! Most improved Varsity goes to senior,
Kevin Nazareth! Kevin's 18:10 at Hoka-McNeil is 1 minute and 3 seconds faster than his last year's race! Let's GO, Kevin!
Jesuit XC Classic, September 27:
Jesuit XC Classic is here!. We expect a record number of teams and athletes to attend Saturday's competition! Top ranked teams and individuals from across the are entered in this year's meet! It truly will be "Classic!"
Thank you to all who have volunteered to assist! You are much appreciated! We will begin preparations on Thursday of loading the U-Haul and trailer. I will drive the truck to the polo club Thursday after school. We will begin setup Friday morning at 9:00 am and aim to finish by 2:00 pm.
