Jesuit Continues With Strong Effort at Bronco Stampede

9/6/2025 7:00:00 PM

COMPLETE RESULTS

MCKINNEY, Texas
- The Jesuit cross country programs competed at the Bronco Stampede at Myers Park, with the varsity finishing in 13th place and the junior varsity taking second place in the JV race.

Coach Robinson's recap: Our Varsity is in pursuit of putting together a complete team effort. We have had a revolving group of varsity runners through the first few competitions, and that's a good thing! Each week we have someone new to step up and keep the pressure on to be a top 7 Varsity member.

Iron sharpens iron, and we will be better for that competitive sharpness.

Led by Gold Medalist Carter Witt, the JV team took 2nd place in the meet, placing four runners in the top 10 and six in the top 20 - Witt (1st), Corbin Turner (3rd), Camden Le (7th), Mateo Saenz (8th), Oscar Falk (18th) and Daylan Le (19th). That is one sophomore and five freshmen! Awesome effort, JV!

Most Improved: Several team members had nice improvements over last year's race. Sophomore, Maddux Click, showed the biggest Varsity gain with his new PR of 16:59 (1:15 improvement)! Two JV runners had improved performances of over a minute! Sophomore, Dylan Wagner's 19:38 was 1:11 better than his 2024 race! But once again, sophomore, Layton Wolf, continued his push for the most improved runner of the year with a 3:06 improvement! What a BEAST! Congratulations guys!

Up Next: The Rangers will return to the course on Thursday, Sept. 18 at the Lewisville Rick Neill Invitational, hosted at Doubletree Ranch Park in Highland Village.
