DALLAS - The Jesuit Dallas soccer team faced off with Lake Highlands in a district contest on Friday and came away with a 2-2 tie at Ranger Stadium.
Jesuit got goals from
Corbyn Wendorf and
Cooper McGough to move its record to 5-0-2 and 0-0-2 in District 7-6A play.
The Rangers took 13 shots and put nine on goal. The Wildcats ended with nine and six on frame.
Jesuit struck first in the 24th minute when Wendorf cleaned up a loose ball in traffic after a solid service by
Luca Shipley from 35 yards out.
LH scored a tying goal with 12 minutes to play in the first half and then took the lead at the midway point of the second half.
McGough's goal came on a throw in that was knocked around in the box by a number of players before he slipped it into the back of the goal with 12:30 remaining.
