IRVING, Texas - The Jesuit Dallas soccer team continued to roll over the competition, defeating Nimitz 2-0 on Friday.
The win saw the Rangers improve to 10-0-2 overall and complete the first half of the District 7-6A slate at 5-0-2 with five consecutive victories.
Jesuit scored its first goal of the contest in the 18th minute on a
Luca Shipley strike. They added the insurance goal 12 minutes later when
Mason Farley scored.
The shutout was the team's eighth this year and fourth in seven district games.
Jesuit will return to play on Tuesday when it plays host to Irving. Kickoff at Ranger Stadium is set for 7:15 p.m.
