IRVING, Texas – The Jesuit Dallas soccer team was in control from the start of its University Interscholastic League Class 6A Bi-District game against South Grand Prairie on Friday, scoring three times in the opening half to secure a 3-1 victory at Joy & Ralph Ellis Stadium.
Jesuit improved to 18-0-2 and will face Flower Mound Marcus (a 4-0 winner over Prosper) in the Area Round on Tuesday or Wednesday at a site to be determined. The Bi-District title is the program's sixth-consecutive and 18th in 22 years of UIL membership.

Cooper McGough scored a pair of goals against the Warriors, while
Corbyn Wendorf added the game-winner.
McGough's first goal came on a header from
Mason Farley just 9:56 into the contest. 11 minutes later was when Wendorf struck while in a scrum of bodies along the goal line. McGough added a penalty kick in the 36th minute to send Jesuit to the half up 3-0.
SGP scored its goal with 4:34 left in the game.
Jesuit outshot SGP 13-4 and took five corner kicks. The physical game featured 28 fouls and seven cards.
