DALLAS - The Jesuit Dallas volleyball team used a strong service game and outstanding hitting to defeat Founders Academy 3-0, in the second round of the 2026 Texas Boys High School Volleyball State Tournament at Walsh Gym. The Rangers cruised through match with set scores of 25-12, 25-16, 25-11.
Jesuit improved to 17-4 overall and will await the winner of Allen and the Red River Rattlers. That state quarterfinal match wil be on Tuesday, April 28 at Jesuit.
Against the Eagles on Tuesday, the Rangers hit .565 and finished with 14 service aces - their most in a 3-set match this season.
Miles McGovern had 11 kills, while
Trey Graves and
Eli Garza finished with eight apiece.
Daniel Shao led the team with six aces and seven digs.
The Jesuit defense held Founders to just seven kills and a negative .125 attack percentage with 12 hitting errors.
