DALLAS - The Jesuit Dallas volleyball team rode. dominating first set to a solid 3-0 victory over Allen in the Texas Boys Volleyball State Tournamenr Regional Final at Walsh Gym on Wednesday.
Jesuit (18-4) advances to the state semifinal where it will face St. Mark's on Friday at 6 p.m. at Walsh Gym.
The Rangers got some outstanding serving from
Daniel Shao, who finished with seven service aces and was behind the line for 11-consecutive points in the first set as the home team built a 22-7 lead en route to a 25-8 win. JCP hit .692 with 10 winners and just one attack error.
Jesuit went on to a 25-19 decision in the second set and then overcame an early 9-5 deficit in the third for a 25-21 clinching score.
Eli Garza finished with a game-high nine kills to go with five aces and four digs.

Trey Graves and
Parker Schutze all had six kills apiece.
Cash Ramirez handed out 17 assists.
