DALLAS - The Jesuit Dallas baseball team completed an unbeaten District 7-6A season with a 12-3 win over Nimitz on Senior Night at Wright Field Friday.
Jesuit improved ro 24-6-2 overall and 14-0 in district action.
Alex Barr went 1-for-4 with four RBI and a run as he hit his team leading fifth home run in the top of the first.
Taylor Haddock went 2-for-2 with two RBI, four runs and a walk.
Jesuit had four extra-base hits - doubles by
Brooks Kowal,
James Jorgensen and Haddock; and Barr's homer.
Jacob Martinez (6-2) won his sixth-consecutive start as he struck out two and allowed a run on three hits..
All 15 seniors played for the Rangers.
Jesuit will conclude the regular season on Saturday afternoon with a rescheduled game at Waxahachie at 1 p.m.
The Rangers will open postseason play next week against Arlington Lamar. The 3-game series will kickoff bi-district round action on Thursday at Lamar. Game two will be Friday at Jesuit and if a third game is needed, it will be on Saturday at Grand Prairie HS.
