GAME PREVIEW
• After dropping the season opener last week at Sachse, Jesuit will play its next two at Ranger Stadium. The first comes against Rockwall this Friday night at 7:00 p.m.

• Junior QB JP Livingstone completed 15-of-27 passing for 210 yards and a TD in the opener. He had two interceptions as well. Gage Griffin also took some snaps at QB and was 10-for-17 for 46 yards and a TD. He was credited with three INT.

• Joseph Konings and Max Smith were the top targets for Livingstone and Griffin, combining for 14 receptions for 166 yards and a TD. Each player caught seven balls, with Konings piling up 122 yards for 17.4 yards per reception. His 52-yard catch on the first drive was the long play of the game for Jesuit. Smith had 44 receiving yards.

• Jesuit ran the ball 23 times for 90 yards last week. Senior RB Ty Daboub had eight carries for 37 yards and a TD. Junior RB George Cladstone rushed three times for 34 yards an an 11.3 yards per rush average.

• Senior OLB Simon McGoldrick entered the year as the team's leading returning tackler with 60 stops and 33 solos in 2025. He led the Rangers with 11 tackles, one tackle for loss and a QB hurry at Sachse.

• Sophomore PK Kelby Bishop was perfect from his place kicking role, making a 35-yard field goal and all three point after touchdown attempts.

SERIES HISTORY
• Jesuit and Rockwall are meeting for the eighth time, with RHS holding a 5-2 series lead..
• Jesuit won the last matchup, 60-59, at home in 2023 in a wild contest that saw the Rangers erase a 15-point deficit with 7:00 left in the 4th qtr. Charlie Peters became the first Ranger quarterback since 2014 to throw for six TD in a single game, completing 37-of-48 passes for 370 yards.
• The Jackets won regular-season meetings in 2020-22. The teams met in the Area Round in three-consecutive years from 2013-15 - JCP won at the Cotton Bowl in 2013, while RHS advanced in 2014 at Wylie Stadium and 2015 at Kimbrough Stadium.

• Jesuit Dallas will play five games at Ranger Stadium and face seven postseason teams from a year ago as part of the 2026 schedule.

• A total of six teams on Jesuit's 2025 schedule advanced to the postseason. All three non-district foes - Hebron, Jesuit New Orleans and Highland Park - along with District 7-6A opponents - Lake Highlands, Richardson and Berkner - played at least one tournament game.

ABOUT ROCKWALL
• Rockwall went 4-6 and 2-4 in District 10-6A a year ago. They missed the playoffs for the first time since 2012 after having a pair of district losses by six points or less.
• The Yellowjackets have just eight returning starters and lost a 2,600-yard passer.
• Collins Jones was 11-for-24 for 180 yards with two TD and an interception last week in a 56-37 loss to Prosper. Keydon Castro rushed for 177 yards on 24 carries with two TD. He had 695 yards and 11 TD in 2025.
 

HOLD ON TO THE ROCK
• Jesuit had a plus-6 turnover margin in 2025 and turned it over just twice in the last six games.
• The Rangers had five interceptions last week at Sachse.

TURNING DEFENSE INTO OFFENSE
• In 2025, the Jesuit defense forced 18 turnovers, with 17 coming in the last eight games.
• The Rangers collected seven interceptions and 11 fumble recoveries with the offense scoring off 12 of those opportunities, including eight of the last 12.

JESUIT SACK PARTY
• The Jesuit defense did a solid job of disrupting opposing quarterbacks a year ago, collecting 23 sacks and 31 QB hurries. Additionally, the Rangers recorded 53 tackles for loss.

2025 JESUIT REWIND
• Jesuit went 6-6 a season ago and was 5-2 in District 7-6A. The Rangers won their Bi-District game for the 13th time before falling to Denton Guyer in the Area Round.

DMN LISTS 6-6A AS THIRD TOUGHEST DISTRICT IN DALLAS
• The Dallas Morning News rated District 6-6A as the third toughest in the area. Only 11-6A and 8-5A were deemed tougher.

RANGERS RANKED 49TH IN DMN DALLAS TOP 100
• Additionally, the DMN rated the top 100 teams in the area, placing Jesuit 49th in the preseason. The other teams on Jesuit's schedule include:

NEW THREADS FOR JESUIT
• Jesuit Dallas signed an apparel contract with UnderArmour which took effect in January. Head coach Brandon Hickman helped design the new uniforms which were debuted against Lake Highlands last season. They wore them again against Richardson and in the area round game versus Guyer.
• Jesuit was the first school in the country (college or high school) to wear UnderArmour's state of the art UA Blur uniform.
