Jesuit scored on a wild pitch in the top of the sixth to win Game 3 of the Regional Semifinals over Lake Travis by a score of 1-0 Saturday night in Mumford, Texas. Jesuit wins the series and advances to the UIL Regional Finals for the first time in school history. The Rangers will face Oak Ridge next weekend for a berth in the UIL State Championship Tournament.

After five innings of scoreless baseball,
Nic Ready singled to left field to lead off the top of the sixth inning for Jesuit.
Bryce Bonner then grounded into a fielder's choice, and Alex Lengyel ran for Bonner at first. Lengyel stole second, advanced to third on a ground ball, then scored on a wild pitch with two outs to register the only run of the game.

Kyle Muller had another stellar performance on the mound for Jesuit. Muller struck out 6 and gave up just five hits in his complete game shutout. Lake Travis threatened with runners in scoring position in five consecutive innings, but Muller got out of each jam.

Lake Travis won Game 1 of the series by a score of 3-2 thanks to a productive fourth inning. The Cavaliers then led 5-2 going into the bottom of the sixth at Jesuit in Game 2, but the Rangers responded with one of their biggest innings of the season. Jesuit scored seven runs in the bottom of the sixth Friday night to force a decisive Game 3, then took Game 3 by a score of 1-0 Saturday. The game was originally scheduled to be played at Baylor University Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m., but was rescheduled due to weather and was played at 8:00 a.m. in Mumford.
