Jesuit continued their march towards the University Interscholastic League (UIL) district season, competing against a pair of regional opponents in Southlake Carroll and Allen on October 7 before battling Plano on October 12.
The Rangers led off the bout against Plano by capturing first and third in the 200 medley relay. Senior

Ryan Brown hit the wall in 1:52.54 to finish third. Jesuit won two relays, including a victory in the 200 free relay with the team of Nguyen, Lopez, Daniels and Ayres finishing eight seconds ahead of Plano with a 1:35.46.
Ayres would strike again in the 200 free, winning in 1:50.21, followed by a third-place performance by Bedard. Nguyen won the 100 fly in 57.61, and Day tacked on a 1:01.33 win in the 100 back. Daniels added a second-place, 24.74 in the 50 free. Jesuit posted a pair of 2-3 finishes, first accomplished by Lopez and Hoover 100 free, followed by Matthews and Cho in the 100 breast.
In the tri-meet, Ayres finished third 50 and 100 free, additionally joining sophomore
Colin Feehery, Lopez and Nguyen on the 200 medley relay team that posted a second-place, 1:41.66 total relay time. Lopez finished in fourth with a 56.18 in the 100 fly, swimming the third leg of the 200 free relay with Nguyen, Daniels and Ayres, which hit the wall in 1:34.67 to finish third.
Jesuit would fall, 235-65 to Southlake Carroll, and 168-118 to Allen before dropping the decision to Plano, 84-86. The Rangers next travel to McKinney H.S. to take on McKinney Boyd on October 19 at 5:30 p.m.
