Three different Rangers found the back of the net on Tuesday evening, propelling the Blue and Gold to a 3-0 win over local rival W.T. White in the annual Battle for the Saddle at Postell Stadium.

Seniors Liam Finn, Joe Fimian and Patrick Howell each tallied a goal, while the Ranger defense stood stout once again to earn their fourth consecutive shutout and eighth clean sheet of the 2016 season.

Seven minutes into the opening half, the Rangers (9-2-1, 5-0-0 UIL) took an early, 1-0 lead off of Finn's fourth goal of the year, taking a two-goal lead into the halftime break after Finn found Fimian with 15 minutes remaining in the opening stanza.

Howell's fourth goal of the year came with six minutes remaining in the contest off a pass by senior Adam Garcia, helping the Rangers to their fifth consecutive win.

The Rangers last yielded a goal to an opponent on Jan. 27, when the Sunset Bison scored in the waning moments of the first half.

Jesuit Dallas will next travel to MacArthur H.S. on Friday, Feb. 12 to take on the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m.
