After Richland scored a run in the third, home runs by Muller in the third and fifth along with a solo bomb by Kengott in the fourth propelled Jesuit to a 5-1 lead headed into the sixth, where the Rangers plated six runs en route to earning a run rule victory.Â
Kengott scored on a Richland error, junior
Mark Ready plated Lynch with an infield single and junior
Will Guzman was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to give Jesuit a seven-run lead. Muller crossed the plate on another Rebels error before Horvath ended the game with a two-run double that scored Guzman and senior

Bonner drove in Muller and Mix with a two-run double to right center in the first inning against reigning University Interscholastic League (UIL) 5A State Champion Prosper. The Eagles cut the Ranger lead in half with a third inning run, but Palisch kept the Blue and Gold in the lead, getting a two-run cushion after Ready scored in the fourth.
