Kyle Muller struck out 15 batters while recording Jesuit Dallas' second consecutive no-hitter, leading the No. 20 Rangers to a 14-0, University Interscholastic League (UIL) District 9-6A win over Sunset on Friday evening at Wright Field.
After junior
JJ Montenegro no-hit the Bison on Thursday afternoon, Muller recorded every out in Friday's contest via strikeout en route to blanking Sunset. Muller earned his second Jesuit Dallas varsity no-hitter, also accomplishing the feat in an 11-0 win over Irving on Apr. 2, 2015. The senior also dominated at the plate, hitting 4-for-4 with a pair of runs driven in.

JT Mix scored a team-leading three runs, scattering three hits and matching Muller's game-high with two RBI. Seniors

Matt Horvath and Lynch scored Kengott and Horvath, and a two-run single by Mix brought home Lengyel and Lynch to bolster the lead to 9-0. A passed ball and Sunset error scored Mix and Hamrick to give Jesuit Dallas an 11-0 advantage.

Bryce Bonner each recorded RBI hits in the fourth to push the lead to 14 runs, and Muller struck out all three Sunset batters in 12 pitches in the fifth to clinch the no-hitter.
The Rangers will next travel to Skyline High School on Tuesday to start a two-game series with the Raiders. First pitch on Tuesday is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. before Skyline arrives at Wright Field for a 7:30 p.m. bout on Thursday, Mar. 24.
