Joseph Banul served as Jesuit's goalkeeper in the second half, making two saves in the opening 10 minutes. With 22:56 remaining, a corner kick was deflected to the feet of Burciaga just inside the right side of the box. The senior scored on a shot towards the left side of the net for a 2-0 advantage. Burciaga then assisted on Lerma's second goal, lofting a ball over the Sachse defense, allowing Lerma to beat a defender and power home the shot from close range.
