Jesuit Dallas split its second tri-meet of the year on Oct. 17, defeating Lovejoy, 82-32 while falling to Allen, 72-45. The Rangers scored four individual victories and 11 top-three finishes.
Senior Charlie Day, junior
Noah Nguyen joined freshmen Will McKinney and Jack Young as individual winners for Jesuit Dallas. Day won the 100 back with a time of 58.60, besting second-place Matthew Beltran by Allen by over one second. Nguyen captured the 100 breast, hitting the wall in 1:04.88. McKinney dominated the field in the 500 free, cruising to a 4:57.80 that finished over 12 seconds ahead of second-place swimmer Zachary Chesman from Allen. Young closed Jesuit's individual victors by scoring a 141.38 in one-meter diving.
Sophomore Ivan Lopez finished second in the 200 free with a time of 1:54.01. Senior
Forrest Moses added a 23.58 in the 50 free to finish second, while McKinney's 2:03.93 in the 200 I.M. earned second-place honors. Senior
Lucas Raney joined Nguyen, Moses and Lopez on the 200 free relay team that closed its race in second place with a 1:35.57 total relay time.
Cho (1:07.20) and Brown (1:00.90) finished third in the 100 breast and 100 back, respectively, with Cho sparking a 3-4-5-6 finish that included senior Josh Betanzos in fourth, sophomore Kevin Grant in fifth and junior Sean Holden in sixth.

Noah Nguyen finished second with a 1:45.57 total relay time. McKinney, Cho, Day and sophomore Ryan Brown closed the afternoon with a 3:38.42, third-place finish in the meet-ending 400 free relay.
Jesuit Dallas will continue its season on Tuesday, Oct. 31 in a dual meet against Highland Park before competing in the Dallas Cup on Nov. 11.
