The Rangers posted 12 top-two finishes, but fell short to Highland Park, 107-78 on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at Highland Park High School.

Tuesday's meet began with the 200 medley relay, a race which the Rangers finished second with a total relay time of 1:46.43. Senior Charlie Day, junior
Noah Nguyen, sophomore Ivan Lopez and freshman Will McKinney participated in the race to provide an early charge to the Jesuit Dallas lineup.

Freshman Jack Young scored the Rangers' lone individual victory of the event with a 1:54.30 in one-meter diving. Young edged Highland Park's Wolford Dash by four points to earn the win. Senior
Forrest Moses finished second in the 50 free, closing the race in 24.73.

Lopez led off the individual portion of the meet by finishing second in the 200 free, hitting the wall in 2:00.51, then clocked a 55.62 to spark a 2-3 finish in the 100 fly with a second-place 55.62. Nguyen followed Lopez with a 58.04 to finish third. McKinney followed a victory in the 500 free last week by sparking another 2-3 finish with a final time of 5:10.95 followed by a 5:22.11 from freshman Ryan Peckham.

Sophomore Ryan Brown finished third with a 53.41 in the 100 free, Day added a third-place, 1:00.51 in the 100 back and junior Alexander Cho jumpstarted a 3-4-5 finish in the 100 breast with a 1:08.84 final time. The 400 free relay team of McKinney, Cho, Day and Brown closed the event by finishing second with a 3:45.47 total relay time.

Jesuit Dallas will next compete at the Dallas Cup on Nov. 11. The event will begin at 10 a.m. in McKinney, Texas.
