Scouting Lakeview Centennial
The Patriots earned a playoff berth after posting a 3-3 record in District 10-6A, but enter Friday's contest on a two-game skid and 4-6 overall record. Lakeview Centennial had an opportunity to host a bi-district round contest with a victory over Naaman Forest but let a 10-8, third-quarter lead slip away in a 29-17 setback. The Patriot offense has been facilitated through a pair of running backs who have each carried the ball over 100 times this year; senior Te'Darius Herford leads the team with 649 yards and has scored seven touchdowns while classmate Maurico Sneed has found pay dirt a team-high eight times while racking up 621 yards. Senior quarterback Jaylen Jones has thrown for seven touchdowns and 636 yards while sophomore Jarret Adams has 681 passing yards and a 60.7 percent completion percentage this season.
