Seniors
Ethan Moore and
Tommy Flaim scored goals for Jesuit Dallas, leading the Rangers past the Rowlett Eagles, 2-0, in the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Bi-District Round on Friday night at Homer B. Johnson Stadium.
Â
Moore tallied his 11th goal of the year in the first half off of an assist by junior
Christian Lerma, spotting the Rangers (16-3-1)Â an early advantage en route to their 11th shutout of the season and third consecutive clean sheet. In the second half, Lerma was fouled in the box, and senior Flaim took the kick, slotting a shot past the Eagles' keeper into the back post for the second goal of the evening. Senior
Luke Ostrander turned in an impressive performance in the goal, keeping Rowlett (9-10-3) off of the scoreboard.
Â
