After securing a key win over Region II-5A contender Grapevine on Sep. 8, the Jesuit Dallas tennis team closed a three-game road trip with a dominant, 14-2 win over UIL District 9-6A rival J.J. Pearce on Thursday, Sep. 14 in Richardson.

Jesuit (4-0) began the afternoon by dominating doubles competition while showcasing the team's projected starting lineup for the spring championship season. Senior

The Rangers came out firing in singles play, winning 10 of the 12 matches to secure the team victory. Cole and Trejo sparked Jesuit with a pair of 8-0 sweeps, while Lindberg impressed at top flight with an 8-1 victory. Senior

Platt competed at No. 2 singles, continuing the strong net play of the Rangers with an 8-5 victory. Ueshima added an 8-6 win at No. 6 singles and sophomore
Trey Ashmore concluded Jesuit's run by capturing an 8-7 singles victory.

Jesuit Dallas will next welcome Lake Highlands for a 4:30 p.m. meet on Tuesday, Sep. 19 at The Hockaday School. The Rangers wll then take a week-long break before two matches in three days beginning with a battle against Liberty Christian on Sep. 26 followed by the annual "Battle for the Saddle" against W.T White on Sep. 28.
