Three event victories and nine top-two finishes proved to be the difference maker as Jesuit Dallas finished a tri-meet against Plano and Plano East with a 1-0-1 dual meet record. Jesuit defeated Plano East, 59-41 and tied Plano, 50-50 to follow the fifth-place performance at the Ranger Relays in September with a strong outing in its first head-to-head meet of the season.
Freshmen
James Savarese and
Jackson Summers secured individual victories to aid the Ranger effort. Savarese cruised to a victory in the 100 back, hitting the wall in 58.45, leading a one-two finish with senior
Ryan Brown to hand Jesuit a 10-point swing in both dual meets. Summers tacked on a 5:06.28 in the 500 free, followed closely behind by sophomore
Ryan Peckham for another critical event victory for the Blue and Gold. Summers bested the field by nearly eight seconds as the two Ranger racers finished well ahead of third-place Plano East.
