Diego Sierra netted a hat trick to send Jesuit Dallas past Richardson, 4-2, on Friday evening at Postell Stadium. The victory leads Jesuit Dallas to its first district win, pushing the Blue and Gold to 3-1-1 over their last five contests.

After trailing by a goal at halftime, Jesuit erupted in the second half for four goals to secure the victory. Sierra scored a pair of penalty kick tallies in the 49th and 56th minute, adding the Rangers' fourth goal of the contest in the 87th minute off of an assist by senior
Andrew Gilchrist. Senior
Christian Lerma jump-started the offense for Jesuit in the second half, scoring his second goal of the season to equalize the contest at 1-1.

th minute to excel down the stretch.

The Rangers seemed destined to tie the contest in the first half but were held hostage by the cage. Jesuit hit three posts in the first half on shots by Sierra, Lerma and senior
J.P. Koshakji and earned a trio of corner kicks but were unable to get the ball past the goal line until the second half.

Jesuit will next travel to Skyline for a 7:30 p.m. district bout on Tuesday, Feb. 6 before a Friday district clash with J.J. Pearce. The Rangers will return home on Tuesday, Feb. 13 for a 7:30 p.m. contest against Lake Highlands.
