Jesuit Dallas soccer celebrated senior night and the accomplishments of the 12-member senior class on Mar. 6, dropping a 2-0 decision to state-ranked No. 5 J.J. Pearce in the 2017 home finale at Postell Stadium.

The Rangers were held in check by the Mustangs throughout the contest, only able to find their way through the Pearce defense for three shots throughout the contest. Pearce struck twice on set pieces, breaking a scoreless tie in the 34th minute on a converted corner kick before finding the back of the net again in the 48th minute on another corner attempt.

Chris Flabiano launched a shot on target in the second half, one of two shots on goal for the Blue and Gold during the contest. Senior
Andrew Gilchrist placed a header off of a ball in the box over the crossbar in the first half. Senior
Joseph Banul made two saves for the Blue and Gold while the Rangers forged five free kick attempts off of fouls.

The Rangers will next travel to Lake Highlands for a Friday bout against the Wildcats. Kick off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. from Wildcat-Ram Stadium.
