Jesuit Dallas volleyball will head into the Texas Boys Varsity Volleyball League (TBVVL) as the No. 1 overall seed after a stellar, 10-2 regular season campaign. The Rangers will begin their postseason run at Prosper H.S. on Saturday, May 19 against No. 8 seed Wylie at 9 a.m., aiming to battle either Rockwall or Prosper in the 11 a.m. semifinal.

The Rangers opened the year with on a four-game winning streak, opening the year with a 2-1 win over Allen before erupting for straight set wins over Prosper, Coppell to close the Allen Tournament before Jesuit capped the streak with a 3-0 win over Rockwall.

Jesuit rebounded from a 2-0 loss to Allen in the Jesuit Dallas tournament with four consecutive wins on May 5. The Rangers posted 2-0 wins over Lovejoy, Coppell and Wylie to close out the tournament with a 3-1 record. Against Coppell,
Javier Saldivar secured 16 digs while
Cooper Herndon posted a five-kill performance. Herndon kept his momentum into the second match against Lovejoy, where he posted a nine-dig, four-kill outing.
Michael Turner tacked on four digs, and five assists to compliment a team-leading three aces.
On Saturday, the Rangers will begin the TBVVL Tournament against Wylie to jump-start the eight-team tournament. The tournament will culminate with the league championship on Tuesday afternoon.
