The Jesuit Dallas volleyball team saw its season end in the semifinal round of the Texas Boys' Varsity Volleyball League (TBVVL) Tournament on Saturday with a 2-1 loss to Rockwall. The Rangers posted an inspired comeback to the Yellow Jackets but were unable to complete the comeback after upending Wylie, 2-0 in the quarterfinal round.

Against Wylie,
Patrick Rodenbaugh led the way with six kills while
Nick Wilson posted a team-leading 10 assists.
Sam Levis notched four aces while
Michael Turner scored five digs and five kills. Jesuit scored a 25-12 win in set one before clinching the victory with a 25-13 victory in the second set.

Moving into the semifinals, Jesuit dropped the first set to Rockwall, 25-23 before forcing a decisive third set with a 27-25 comeback win in the second. However, Rockwall was able to secure momentum early to end the Rangers' season in the third and decisive set, 15-11.

The semifinal loss ends a wildly successful year for the Blue and Gold as Jesuit concluded the season with an 11-3 record. The Rangers entered the tournament with the top-overall seed.
