A stellar season came to a conclusion on Saturday as Jesuit Dallas fell to Allen in the TBHSV State Semifinal on Saturday in Rockwall H.S.
 
Sophomore Spencer Jewesson led the team with 11 kills on the day, tying senior Ben Levis with a team-leading seven digs. Junior Deo Shaji recorded three aces, helping Jesuit score six total aces on the day aided by one from Jewesson and two from senior Sam Levis.
 
Senior Javier Saldivar secured six digs, Ben Levis added a team-leading seven assists to go along with three kills while Sam Levis racked up four kills and five digs. Sophomore Christopher Uzor picked up two kills and sophomore Alex Lizardi earned a kill to complete the Jesuit scoresheet.
 
The Rangers finish the 2021 season with a 5-4 record, a mark that included a 4-3 regular season and a No. 3 seed in the TBHSV Tournament. Jesuit upended Keller in straight sets, 25-18, 25-16, 25-21, to earn a spot in the tournament semifinals. Allen, the No. 2 overall seed in the tournament, defeated the Rangers, 25-15, 25-15, 25-22 to punch its ticket to the state title game against Plano West, who defeated Plano in the second semifinal on Saturday.
