A trio of Ranger seniors scored in double digits as Jesuit Dallas was able to move to 3-1 in District 7-6A with a convincing, 59-33 win over Nimitz on Tuesday in Irving. Jesuit will enter Friday's senior night with momentum after holding their second straight district opponent under 35 points, utilizing another stellar opening quarter to take a commanding lead early in the matchup.

Ryan McCormick secured a double-double on Tuesday, scoring 10 points with 10 rebounds while going a perfect 5-for-5 from the floor. Classmate
Grant Kostos also went 5-for-5 from the floor, tacking on 10 points along with five rebounds and a block. Senior

Jesuit held Nimitz to a 29.8 percent clip from the field and 15.4 percent from three-point range, converting 14 points off of 12 turnovers. The Rangers dominated in the paint, scoring 36 points, and finished the game shooting 49 percent from the field while outrebounding the Vikings, 37-29.

The Rangers will welcome Berkner to Walsh Gym on Friday, Jan. 14 for a 7 p.m. tip-off. Friday's contest will double as senior night, with Jesuit Dallas recognizing the nine members of the Jesuit Dallas basketball class of 2022. The senior night presentation will take place directly following the conclusion of the junior varsity gold game, set for a 5:30 p.m. start, and tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
