Sky Tschurr, were honored in front of a packed house of fans and family members. Jesuit then moved to 4-1 in district play, capturing its third straight win wiht a 59-41 victory over Berkner on Friday at Walsh Gym.
McCormick led the way for the Blue and Gold with 23 points on the day, shooting 8-of-11 from the floor and 6-of-7 from the free-throw line while matching Kostos's team-leading seven rebounds. Johnson added 15 points, followed by 11 points from junior
Dylan Gibbons. Kostos and Tschurr scored five points apiece to complete the Rangers' scoresheet. Jesuit outscored Berkner 22-12 in the paint, and forced 16 Ram turnovers, leading to 16 points for the Blue and Gold.Â
Jesuit will return to action on Tuesday, Jan. 18, when the Rangers will hit the road to take on Irving. The week will continue on Friday, Jan. 21, when Jesuit hits the road to take on Richardson, the top-ranked team in the state, at 7 p.m. The Rangers return to Walsh Gym on Tuesday, Jan. 25 against J.J. Pearce.
