Jesuit Dallas scored its most points since 2018 with a dominant showing in the opener of the 2022 Coppell Tip-Off Tournament, defeating L.D. Bell, 88-49 before falling to Byron Nelson, 69-50 in the nightcap on Thursday at Coppell High School.

Five Rangers scored in double digits against the Blue Raiders, led by 15 points from junior
Justin Kemp, who hit 3-of-5 three-pointers and finished the afternoon 6-of-9 from the field with a team-high seven rebounds. Junior

Jesuit Dallas shot 53.4 percent from the floor, scored 62 points in the paint and tacked on 33 points off of 24 L.D. Bell turnovers.
Steger, Kryger and Bronson added six rebounds apiece, while Steger added a team-high five steals. Gramlich picked up a team-high four assists, and the Rangers secured a 39-24 rebounding advantage en route to the win.

Steger notched 15 points and Bronson added 13, but Byron Nelson hit 12 three-pointers and forced 13 turnovers to upend the Rangers, 69-50. Kryger and Steger secured seven rebounds apiece to tie for the team lead as Gibbons added three assists.
