Jake Fults threw a no-hitter in his first career high school start, helping Jesuit Dallas secure a split on the first day of the 2022 Collin County Invitational on Thursday at Wright Field. The Rangers upended Fossil Ridge, 10-0, in the nightcap following a 6-3 setback to Lovejoy in their home opener.

Cash Riley for Jesuit's 10th run of the game. Junior
Dominic Migliore went 3-for-4 from the plate while Riley recorded a team-leading three RBI on the night. Fults and senior

Jake Storey each recorded a double and Sharp picked up a triple on the night.

Nick Barber drove in two runs for the Rangers against Lovejoy, sparking a late rally for the Blue and Gold with a two-run single in the sixth that scored Fults and Migliore. Riley and Storey each recorded doubles as Storey additionally made his season debut on the mound, striking out five over seven innings.

Jesuit will take on Byron Nelson and Denton Ryan in the second day of the Collin County Invitational on Friday. The Rangers and Bobcats will square off at 11 a.m. before Jesuit takes on Ryan at 6:30 p.m. to close the second day of competition.
