Baseball Drops Non-District Bout to Allen

Jesuit Dallas dropped a 3-2, non-district decision to Allen on Saturday at Allen H.S. The low scoring affair saw the Eagles score two runs in the bottom of the seventh to secure the win over the Rangers.
 
Freshman Jake Fults went 1-for-3 with a double and run scored as senior Myles Tucker drove in Fults, going 1-for-2 on the day. Junior Callen Singhania scored the Rangers' second run of the game, reaching after being hit by a pitch, moving to second on a sacrifice bunt by classmate Nick Barber, then scoring on a double steal.
 
On the mound, senior Jack Barr threw three innings, striking out two batters and allowing no runs on four hits. Senior Tommy Delaney took over in the fourth, throwing three innings, striking out two batters and allowing one run on three hits. Sophomore Aiden Emmerton and junior Dominic Migliore threw the seventh.
 
Jesuit will now turn its attention to the final district series of the year as the Rangers will take on Richardson in a two-game series that begins on Tuesday. Jesuit will travel to Richardson on Tuesday night for a 7 p.m. first pitch before returning to Wright Field for a 7 p.m. first pitch on Friday.
