Hank Gramlich, Jesuit Dallas toppled the reigning University Interscholastic League (UIL) 6A State Champions Lake Highlands, 68-52, on Dec. 15 at Walsh Gym.

Grant went 8-of-12 from the field and 3-of-4 from behind the arc, finishing the game with a double-double, tacking on 10 rebounds alongside his 24-point performance, picking up two assists, a block, and an assist. Charlie Peters tied for the team lead with six assists apiece as Mergerson secured six boards on the evening.

Peters grabbed four rebounds of his own while Gramlich picked up two assists and two rebounds. Junior
Ethan Mahowald added four rebounds to the team total, as Jesuit outrebounded the Wildcats, 38-31 and powered its way to 26 points in the paint. The Rangers built a 23-point lead late in the third quarter, then limited Lake Highlands to 10 points in the fourth quarter.
