Jesuit and Allen scored 38 points apiece in the paint, and Jesuit added 18 points off 17 Allen turnovers, but the hot-shooting Eagles proved too much to overcome as the Rangers were out-shot, 57.1 to 38.2 percent, by Allen in the second half.

The Rangers will open district play on Friday, as Jesuit travels to Richardson to battle J.J. Pearce. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. on Tuesday as the Rangers and Mustangs renew their rivalry in a highly anticipated district showdown.
