Jesuit Dallas opened district play with a 59-39 win over J.J. Pearce on Dec. 8 in Richardson, Texas. The Rangers improve to 11-2 on the season with the victory, which saw the Blue and Gold secure a key momentum swing in the second quarter, outscoring the Mustangs, 20-8.

The Rangers dominated the paint, scoring 40 points inside the lane, adding 13 points off 12 Pearce turnovers. In addition, the Rangers outrebounded the Mustangs, 37-20, and snagged 14 offensive rebounds, leading to 11 points.

Jesuit will continue a three-game road trip on Tuesday, when the Rangers travel to Irving to take on the Tigers. The Rangers will return to Walsh Gymnasium on Friday, Dec. 15 to take on Lake Highlands, aiming to continue their unbeaten start at home this season.
